This video touched my heart today as I ponder the real meaning of Easter. The atonement. The resurrection. The Savior.
I ponder in amazement that he, who was without sin, who never needed atonement himself, suffered for me, who will never deserve it, will never be able to earn it or pay him back. He did it selflessly, willingly, humbly. He, who held all power in his hands, who had the power to rule this world like none other ever could, who could have held all in dominion under him, choose to live a quiet humble life, teaching us to love one another, to forgive each other, to have peace.
In the end, he triumphed overall, overcame and dominated like none ever could or ever will, in a way that is truly beyond the understanding of this fallen world. He showed us real leadership, real strength, real power.
He showed us what love really is.
Exactly and it's a beautiful day of celebration! We are so fortunate. I'll be watching the Wild Rice Family growing up...and look forward to your blog posts.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Susan! I finally took your advice and started a blog. :)
